Mega Ran’s surprise winter 2019 release “AGES” comes at an opportune time, as it places a bow on a breakthrough year personally and professionally. AGES covers parts of Ran’s awkward journey through youth to adulthood, and includes the remix to the standout single “HOME.” Tracks are produced by the late EOM, newcomers The Alumni and Mat Mania Podcast contributor G1 To The Rescue.
Despite a litany of producers, the tracks on AGES flow seamlessly, thanks to some additional chiptune programming notes that open and close each track. "AGES" is a journey through youth in the eyes of a Philadelphia born educator turned emcee, so emotions range from the innocence of youth on "AA" to the heart-wrenching realization of poverty on "Latchkey."
Early downloaders will receive 3 bonus tracks on Bandcamp, including the wacky "Sunset Flip" featuring Austin Creed, perhaps better known as WWE's Xavier Woods of The New Day.
